EXPANSION PLANS

THE NEED IS NOW.  The funds raised from the Building on the Best campaign will allow the centre to expand and renovate the current site. 

 The new expansion will:

• Triple new patient counselling and meeting rooms with improved privacy

• Add new large event and educational space (that will be revenue generating)

• Add additional clinic space for all programs and play areas for children

• Connect the two original structures to add a new welcome area, volunteer hub and resource library

The new Best Centre will see a full-site upgrade to ensure care is delivered without compromise for the next generation of T1D patients and healthcare experts.  Your donation will guarantee children, adults and their families living in Durham Region, the GTA and beyond have access to expert type 1 diabetes care.

• A more appropriate place for care outside of hospitals and busy emergency rooms
